Norwegian Solar Cell Conference

FME SOLAR continues the popular tradition started in 2013 by previous FME centres, by arranging the Norwegian Solar Cell Conference (NSCC) every year in May. The conference contain two exciting days filled with presentations and discussions of recent scientific, technological, and industrial development in the solar cell industry in beautiful surroundings by the Oslo fjord.

The topics covered at the conference include:

  • Silicon feedstock, ingots, wafers and crucibles
  • Solar cell and module technology
  • Performance, reliability and operation of PV power plants
  • Building-integrated PV (BIPV), Infrastructure-integrated PV (IIPV), Floating PV (FPV) and Agri-PV
  • Resource and production forecasting
  • PV + storage, hybrid PV power plants and grid integration of PV
  • PV power plants in Nordic conditions
  • Re-use and recycling
  • The role of PV in Norway and Europe
  • Environmental impact and social acceptance of PV production
  • Beyond the horizon: Disruptive PV technologies

Submit an abstract

During the Conference there will be a series of oral and visual (poster) presentations, and ample opportunities for discussions and networking. The oral program is now full, but we may be able to accomodate a few more posters. Contact merete.estensen@ife.no with your 1 page abstract if you wish to participate with a poster.
