WP7: Education
FME SOLAR will map essential competences and update higher education programs for the PV industry to meet current and future needs.
National coordination of advanced PV education will include potential development of intensive courses and a summer school for training, with an emphasis on re-education to support sector shifts required by the green transition. The initiative will also foster collaboration between students and industry through internships, summer jobs, and thesis opportunities. FME SOLAR will maintain a list of these opportunities and organize events for students to connect with PV companies, while promoting increased exchange between industry professionals and research staff to strengthen collaboration.
